I have to disagree with you on that one. There is only one aspect I think isn't flawless and that is NPC behavior during stealthy moments (they have a habit of just running around and talking right next to enemies)... everything else is soooo tight.
I am yet to beat it (just did a part with cranes and very tall buildings last night). The variation of detail in the environments, even though similar in setting throughout is incredible. Every building and shop genuinely feels different inside from one another... which is good because I got to go check every draw for that scrap metal!
Personally I have shifted to digital ownership. The first half of PS4s life I was pretty much physical, once there some deals on digital I started dipping my toe in to digital purchases... then I came to realise my lazy arse really likes just switching games without going to the shelf. If PSNow keep improving like it is, I would likely subscribe to that too. I own an xbox also with Gamespass... I bought it later in the lifespan but I own very few physical releases for that console.
@sampsonon, I totally get that. The always deliver an excellent line-up of first party games over a generation. Don't get me wrong, I'll have myself both consoles in the long run... I won't let myself miss out!
I am paid up on Gamespass for a couple of years at the moment... so financially buying X means I can just get to playing without further costs... HOWEVER... they have not shown a single damn thing to prove that's the correct decision just yet.
<...
Yeah they tend to change the little $ sign to a £ where I am for hardware at launch... which makes it about 1/5th more expensive.
I am curious to see where these come out in terms of prices. I am yet to decide which console I'll buy for launch this time around. This gen I started out with PS4, the gen before that X360.
Focus interactive still work in the AA market if that's what you want?
Same, I am glad games like Nioh and Sekiro exist for those who love them, but their skill ceiling puts me off... I am just too casual. I am hoping for a difficulty similar to Horizon, Spiderman, GOW etc. I managed to get through all of those and enjoy them.
The only one I did bludgeon through was Bloodborne. I loved that game... but I failed at trying to do the same with Darksouls 3... I just couldn't be arsed to grind no more.
I am all for cross play with consoles. I have no interesting crossplaying with PC however.
Every trending show on Netflix right now is about a damn virus... So that can't be the excuse. It likely more down to physical distribution.
It is getting some low scores.
I played this over the weekend. Personally I have really enjoyed it, but there is no denying there is a lack of content. I doubt I will be playing anymore come next week.
I just assume it is something to do with money laundering.
Indy and the Emperors Tomb was a good play through last gen. Good punch up system at the time :)
I wonder what everyone's reaction would have been had epic had bought them.
Maybe the majority are not interested. But as a Playstation owner myself, I am, it will be incredibly useful to fit within my current lifestyle.
Same, but with my sleeping daughter upstairs. I don't dare fart when I am playing.
I can't be the only technologically inept gamer in the world. The barrier to entry on PC gaming is too confusing for myself. I like to just turn a system on, know a game is already optimised for my system and play. I have no understanding of graphic card settings, types of RAM or anything like that.
I think the price point is great. The functionality is great... but I hope it doesn't add any much drain to the already poor battery life of the PS4 controllers.
E3 was the place to go for the big reveals and announcements.
Times have changed now. A simple tweet from Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo reaches a far bigger audience than an E3 show does... Why should they bother with it anymore?
Nope, just "agrees" it would seem.
I recently did all MCC games. What they have done with the Halo 2 anniversary was fantastic!
